It has been specifically designed to give clinical practitioners greater control over intensive skin needling procedures while reducing any discomfort.

The EDS Regenerate treatment is an electronic, micro-skin needling procedure that stimulates your skin so that it will regenerate and repair itself naturally, resulting in smoother, brighter, younger and healthier looking skin.

What Areas Can Be Treated?

Acne scars
Photo-damaged and ageing skin
Facial and décolletage lines and wrinkles
Stretch marks

Can Anyone Practise This?

This precision designed, electrically powered medical device uses the most advanced German engineering to produce the best results. Because of the nature of the EDS Regenerate treatment it must only be carried out by trained practitioners and authorised clinics using genuine Dermastamp medical devices.

How Does It Work?

A trained practitioner will carry out the EDS Regenerate procedure. This creates thousands of micro medical needle columns into your skin, each one penetrating into the dermis layer. These columns will stimulate the skin, encouraging it to regenerate and repair itself. They then rapidly close so that your skin can quickly recover.

Thanks to the precision engineering and fine-tuned controls your practitioner can accurately control the EDS treatment intensity throughout the procedure.

This means they can adjust the needle depth and speed depending on the area that they're treating and the particular condition of that area of skin.

While the EDS Regenerate procedure produces some discomfort, your practitioner will normally apply a topical anaesthetic and to the treatment area beforehand. While a high quality hyaluronic acid solution will allow the needle tip to move smoothly over the surface of your skin.

Following the procedure your skin will start to naturally regenerate and repair itself, working below the surface in the dermis. This will take some time as new collagen is formed, new skin cells are generated and the dermis layer is rejuvenated. It can take up to six weeks before you see signs of this regeneration and repair, although the process will continue to work over the following months, leaving you with natural, long lasting results.

How Often Can I Treat?

We recommend that your EDS Regenerate treatment consists of three procedures approximately six weeks apart. However, some skin conditions may more treatments to achieve the desired results. Alternatively your practitioner may suggest a GD Regenerate treatment using the Genuine Dermaroller, medical device is the better course of treatment.

What Results Can I Expect?

Immediately after the procedure you will look as though you have moderate sunburn and your skin may feel warmer and tighter than usual. This normally starts to subside after one to two hours and will return to normal within 24 to 36 hours.

Your practitioner may suggest that you use Control Tactics, a post-procedure recovery gel, to help soothe and calm the skin. This should be used as directed until the redness subsides.

Following the treatment your practitioner may also apply a Hyaluronic acid based product to hydrate and plump the skin.

We also strongly advise that you use broad spectrum high-level photo protection after the procedure, such as a product from the Heliocare range. You should continue to apply this on a daily basis during the treatment course, even in the winter or on cloudy days. Use tepid water to cleanse the face until the redness has gone and dry gently. Always make sure your hands are clean when touching the treated area.

Following treatment it is essential that you continue to care for your skin on an ongoing daily basis with an effective anti-ageing regime. This should be designed to provide photo and anti-oxidant protection and further enhance the rejuvenation process.

You will complete a full consent form and topical anaesthetic will be applied once we have cleansed the skin.
Once the anaesthetic works your practitioner will begin to use the Derma Pen.
It will feel a little uncomfortable but the vibration of the skin helps sensitise the areas.
Your practitioner will adjust the depth of the needles depending on the level of correction needed.
Once the treatment is complete and your after care creams applied you will be given aftercare to adhere to.
Your next appointment will be arranged.
