The Accent system is the only system on the market which provides two types of radio frequency technology, Uni Polar and Bi Polar.
This unique dual radio frequency technology provides controlled volumetric tissue heating to two distinct depths of tissue.
The Bi Polar RF hand piece penetrates between 2 to 6 mm into tissue reaching adipose tissue and cellulite. Heating to these tissue depths therapeutically improves circulation, promotes fibrous tissue breakdown, and helps to manage areas subject to oedema by promoting the re-absorption and drainage of retained fluids and toxins.
The Uni Polar hand piece is for deep, controlled radio frequency penetration enabling a rapid, safe and effective treatment resulting in skin tightening.
Having radio frequency treatments can create dramatic changes without the need for invasive surgery or anaesthetic.
A major benefit is that there is no down time after treatment, as both hand pieces deliver energy to tissues with continuous cooling which provides additional patient comfort and epidermal protection.
Who is a suitable candidate for skin tightening?
Any client with loose or lax skin can have the procedure performed, but experience to date indicates that the best candidates are those with mild laxity or looseness of the skin. Thinner-skinned clients are thought to respond better than those with thicker skin.
What kind of result can I expect?
Although the procedure is currently FDA approved for treatment of brow areas, the most popular areas of treatment are the cheeks, jowls, neck and thighs.
Experience to date shows that 70 to 80% of patients will achieve at least a mild, but noticeable improvement after a single treatment and our experience to date suggests a greater degree of tightening after a second treatment.
Is there any aftercare procedure?
When receiving fat emulsification treatments your targeted cells are heated up to 40 degrees, at this point your fat emulsifies, and leaves the cell structure and is transformed into tri-glicerite fat. This fat can be used for energy so it is encouraged to increase your exercise and it is recommended that you increase your water intake to 1.5 to 2 litres per day. This will help flush toxins out of the body.
Who cannot be treated?
Clients with a pacemaker or internal cardiac defibrillator may not be treated due to the high possibility that the radio frequency current will interfere with these devises.
Clients who are pregnant may not be treated.
