Pulsar Facial Rejuvenation
Pulsar IPL Intense Pulsed Light
At Innocent Aesthetics Ltd we offer the following rejuvenation treatments using Pulsar Intense Pulsed Light. All treatments are performed by either Jan or Louise.
Your treatment
A full consultation will be given by either Jan or Louise to assess that there are no contraindications to your treatment.
It is recommended that before photographs of the area to be treated are taken, however this is mainly for pigmentation treatments.
Consent will be required before treatment.
Unnecessary hair will either be removed by your consultant by a razor or clippers.
Any facial, body creams, deodorant or make up will be removed.
A test patch can be offered for £25.00 to assess an area before treatment and then be redeemed against your first treatment.
Post treatment aftercare procedures will be advised.
It may take up to 6 treatments to achieve your desired outcome.
Eye protection is supplied.
Rosacea
Pulsar IPL offers excellent results in the treatment of Rosacea and sun damaged skin to give an even and fresh skin tone. Carefully controlled pulses of light target the surrounding affected areas which are easily absorbed by the haemoglobin in the red blood cells. This then damages the wall of the blood vessels allowing the body’s own natural defence to remove this tissue resulting in a reduction of the unevenness of skin colour. This clinically proven method shows results after a few sessions.
Photo rejuvenation
Using carefully controlled pulses of light, at the optimum wavelength fine lines and aging spots are reduced whilst boosting the production of collagen and elastin to create youthful, fresh and smoother looking skin. Contraindications
Clients should avoid tanning one month before or during the entire treatment. Immediately after treatment the skin is extremely sensitive to UVA and UVB there fore excessive sun exposure should be avoided for up to 5 days post treatment.
Side effects
The visible light is completely safe so no special precautions are necessary apart from special light filtering glasses or goggles which are used throughout any treatment.
The skin of some clients can become red immediately after treatment and very rarely small blisters can occur, however, most clients experience no side effects at all.
Any side effects listed above usually disappear within 72 hours.
Unlike electrolysis the Pulsar treatment is non-invasive.
