Facial lines treated with Hydra Fill®
The key to healthy skin is moisture and we need it not only on the surface but at every level. To help your skin maintain optimum levels of moisture there is a naturally occurring compound in the skin called Hyaluronic acid which maintains your hydration level in your skin. The levels of Hyaluronic acid decrease with age resulting in the appearance of lines and wrinkles.
As Hyaluronic acid is the main component of Hydra fill® we can replace the lost volume to lines, wrinkles and lips giving your skin a more youth full appearance.
No allergy test is required and it is suitable for all skin types. Hydra fill® has four grades which all are recommended for specific lines and wrinkles. Grade 1, Grade 3, Softline and Softline Max. Jan or Louise will decide which product best suits your needs. Approx duration 9-12 months
Facial lines treated with Restylane®
Restylane is a crystal clear gel form of hyaluronic acid, a substaqnce that occurs naturally in the body. It holds water, hydrating and giving volume to the skin. As we age the production of hyaluronic acid decreases producing wrinkles. A simple injection of Restylane adds volume to the skin without affecting your natural expression.
Restylane is non-permanent and is absorbed naturally over time and it is your choice when to have further treatments to maintain the effect. Restylane is used for lines and medium folds, Restylane Touch is used to treat fine superficial lines, Restylane Perlane used for treating deep folds and facial contours and sculpting, Restylane Lypp is used specifically for lip enhancements.Approx duration 6-9 months
Your treatment
A full consultation, including consent, will be undertaken by an experienced medical practitioner.
Before and after photographs are essential to allow a true comparison of the effects of your treatment.
If you wish to proceed to treatment a choice of local anaesthesia will be tailored to your requirements. For facial lines, topical Emla cream is recommended or a dental block is recommended for a lip enhancement.
Following your treatment full after care will be advised and a follow up appointment will be made 2 weeks post treatment to ensure you are satisfied.

Possible side effects
You may suffer bruising or swelling localised to the injection sites, this can last up to 1 week. It is recommended to apply Arnica cream post treatment to help any localised bruising.
After care following Hydra Fill®, Restylane, Juvaderm Ultra
Please avoid extreme facial expressions, alcohol consumption, rubbing at the injected sites and applying make up for 12 hours post treatment. Mineral make up is allowed as it is anti-bacterial and some products have anti-inflammatory properties in them. Please avoid extreme temperatures such as sun beds, saunas or steam rooms.
