Jan Leiper - Medical Director & Aesthetic Nurse Specialist

Jan Leiper provides a high standard of advanced skin treatments and products to all of her clients in professional and private surrounding to help you achieve your desired facial rejuvenation outcome.

Before venturing into aesthetic medicine, Jan worked as a Staff Nurse specialising in Cardio-Thoracic and Coronary Care. Having treatments herself, her flair for aesthetic beauty beckoned her and she formed Innocent Aesthetics Ltd in 2005, offering first class rejuvenation treatments following the accomplishment of recognised introductory and advanced aesthetic qualifications.

In February 2007 Jan co-directed a small establishment in Aberdeen which soon became recognised on a national level and was the only Scottish finalist in the category of ‘best small clinic’ in the National Aesthetic Medicine Awards 2008. Jan has since decided to focus on Innocent Aesthetics where she offers the latest treatments ranging from injectable skin rejuvenation, dermal fillers, hyperhydrosis, semi-permanent make-up, laser hair removal, IPL facial rejuvenation and thread vein treatments, radio frequency for fat emulsification and skin tightening, medical micro-dermabrasions, and Environ® skin care. Jan will soon be offering Sculptra™ for skin volume.

With Jan’s level of expertise and experience you can guarantee to receive advanced treatments using ground breaking injectable products and advanced aesthetic equipment.

Jan works in the pleasant surroundings of Kirkwood Fyfe which has been approved by the Health Care Commission, and Investors in People. She works closely with vascular and plastic surgeons whom specialise in surgical rejuvenation including blephroplastys, pixel skin resurfacing and permanent fillers. All surgeons and nursing staff agree that all clients should be reviewed before any Botox® treatment is undertaken, therefore a personal free consultation will be given prior to treatment. This also helps Jan ensure that the correct treatment is administered to ensure your expectations are met.

Jan specialises her dermal filler procedures using Hydrafill, Restylane, Perlane and the new Juvaderm Ultra tailoring each treatment to the clients’ skin type, area and depth of correction needed. Juvaderm Ultra contains local anaesthetic, which makes the injectable treatment more comfortable for the client.  These fillers are non-permanent and will last from 6-12 months.

With her desire for aesthetic perfection Jan achieved her Diploma in the application of Semi-Permanent Make-up being trained by Debra Robson Lawrence and then furthering her training in advanced techniques with Gail Proudman of Finishing Touches. Jan offers treatments for the eyebrows, eye liner, lip liner and lip blush and uses a wide range of fantastic colours.

All qualifications are available on request.
